Najet Geel joined PLMR as Head of Finance in July 2018. She brings over 15 years’ experience in the finance industry having worked in a variety of sectors, and in large and small, local and international companies including multi-nationals.

Najet is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, has studied at l’Institut des Techniques Économiques et Comptables (INTEC, Paris) and has a Master’s degree in Business Studies and Languages from the University of Toulouse. She also studied at Zaragoza University and as an Erasmus student in London.

Together with a friend Najet founded her own company in Paris specialising in language training for executives, including from American Express and L’Oréal, later moving to London as part of its expansion a few years later. She has been at home here ever since.

Najet continued to further her business career and specialised in accounts and finance in a number of London-based companies and in the sports, constructions and design, recruitment and telecommunications industries.

Prior to joining PLMR, Najet held a range of senior positions in finance most recently as Company Accountant for a large UK telecommunications company.

Najet is passionate about environmental issues and has worked with local charities, environmental and campaign groups in Westminster to help improve the conservation area in which she lives.

She has been engaged in fundraising and gardening projects, is a member of the St Marylebone Society, and supports with charitable finances and neighbourhood improvement.

Najet is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Having competed nationally in athletics whilst at university, Najet now enjoys spending time with her family and sailing, cycling, playing tennis and hiking in her spare time.
