Tiffany Beck OBE is Head of Education at PLMR, advising clients across public affairs, crisis communications and media relations. She specialises in senior counsel, strategic communications, reputation and change management, PR and stakeholder engagement.

Tiff is co-founder and Chair of Trustees of Maritime Academy Trust and a Trustee of the National Institute of Teaching. A long-standing National Leader of Governance, she was also a founding

member of Independent Governor Support (IGovS). She has extensive experience supporting schools, trusts and education organisations to navigate complex challenges in leadership, governance and communications. Tiff is a regular speaker at national events on communications, education leadership and governance, and was awarded an OBE in the King’s New Year Honours List 2024 for services to education.

Before joining PLMR, Tiff was Senior Governance Advisor for one of the country’s largest academy trusts, advising school leaders and governors on governance, strategy and navigating complex organisational issues. Earlier in her career, she worked in cross-sector leadership development at The Whitehall & Industry Group and in marketing and sales for a leading US book publisher.

Tiff holds a BA in Political Science, with a concentration in International Relations and a minor in History, from the University of Florida. She also completed Oxford Saïd Business School’s Leading Professional Services Firms programme.
