Seb joined Healthcomms as a Junior Account Executive in February 2021. He is now an Account Manger and provides public affairs support to a range of clients across the health sector.
Seb’s work is heavily focused on Medical Technology, where he helps clients access markets, and patients, better treatment. The vast majority of Seb’s clients are large medical device manufacturers, based both in the UK and Europe. Seb has a keen interest in health inequalities and highlighting, and helping alleviate, disparities in access to medical treatments for patients.
Prior to joining PLMR Healthcomms, Seb worked as a Public Affairs and Communications officer at a development-focused social enterprise and Compassion in Politics, a cross-party organisation working to put compassion, inclusion, and cooperation at the heart of politics. Seb has also spent time working as a Research and Communications Assistant at a development consultancy. These roles varied considerably, ranging from day-to-day social media management, to helping research and implement better standards of qualitative and mixed methods impact evaluation of investments with explicit social and development goals.
Seb holds a BSc(Hons) in Politics and International Relations and an MSc International Development, both from the University of Bath, where he studied from 2016-2020.
