Sam joined PLMR Midlands in February 2019 after working as a reporter for three-and-a-half years with the Leamington Courier in Warwickshire, earning two prizes in media law and news reporting in his senior exams.

He uses his journalistic nouse to understand his clients’ key messages and advise them on how they will best land with target media. Sam also continually forges strong relationships with notable journalists. This sees him secure consistent, relevant coverage for his clients across a wide range of online, print and broadcast media.

Sam is also experienced in crisis communications, providing a calm head when the worst should happen for a PLMR client, while using his background in journalism to provide informed advice.

Outside of work, Sam is a keen runner who competes for Rugby & Northampton Athletics Club, and is often up early on a Saturday for a parkrun.
