Cheer on Ipswich Town in hospitality box at Portman Road with PLMR Genesis!

Matt Stott

Account Manager - PLMR Genesis

With less than a month to go until the Championship season kicks off, we’re inviting clients and community group to join us at Portman Road this season.

We have secured a coveted hospitality box in the Cobbold Stand for every home league game next season, which includes the hotly anticipated return of the East Anglian Derby against Norwich City. Other marquee fixtures include Leeds United, Leicester City and Southampton.

We want to fill every box to help drum up support for the Blues. So, if you’re a client, colleague or friend of PLMR Genesis or a local Ipswich, Suffolk (or Essex) community group who would like to join us, get in touch!

Ipswich Town’s men’s team clinched a dramatic return to The Championship in May and are hoping to get off to a flying start toward their ultimate goal of returning to the Premier League after a two-decade absence.

Ali Straker, Director of PR and Content, said: “We’ve all got high hopes for Kieran McKenna’s side after Town scored more than 100 goals last season and played a lot of fluid, attractive football.

“We are incredibly excited to have secured a sought-after hospitality box at Portman Road and can’t wait to be able to treat our lovely clients and many community organisations to a great day out. We look forward to hearing from you and cheering on the Blues together!”

Based in the East of England, PLMR Genesis delivers award-winning communications campaigns and projects across PR, social media, marketing, and digital communications. At our core, we strive to make a positive and sustainable impact for our clients, our people and society.

Ipswich Town begin the new 2023/24 season at Portman Road with a Carabao Cup (League Cup) home game against Bristol Rovers on Wednesday 9 August (7.45pm kick-off). The first home league game takes place on Saturday 12 August versus Stoke City (3pm kick-off).

The Championship home tie against Norwich City is currently scheduled for Saturday 16 December (3pm kick-off) but is likely to be moved to Sunday 17 December with an expected midday kick-off. The last home league game is against Huddersfield Town on Saturday 4 May 2024 (3pm kick-off).

All the ITFC matches are now available. Please note that all fixtures are subject to change.

The Blues are a renowned community club and home attendances have shot up by around 10,000 to reach almost full capacity after new manager Kieran McKenna, who joined from Manchester United, oversaw a creative, engaging and fun atmosphere both on and off the field last season.
