PLMR Advent goes international

In October 2022, PLMR Advent account manager Sam Jackson went on a two-week secondment in Ottawa, Canada with Bluesky Strategy Group as part of the Global Communications Alliance’s exchange programme.

Between developing a love of ice hockey and eating copious amounts of poutine, Sam shadowed the Bluesky team and learned how they help their clients tell their stories in the most effective way.

And although there were big differences in the tasks the team worked on – such as its relationship with Canada’s indigenous communities – there were more similarities than he first thought. Read his blog below:
