Alfie the alpaca predicts World Cup scores!

An alpaca’s attempts at swapping herding for football punditry ahead of the FIFA World Cup have hit national headlines thanks to PLMR Advent.

Alfie made the predictions – in company of his two alpaca friends Horace and Hagrid – by being given the choice of choosing between two separate feeding stations, which were adorned with either an England or Wales flag and their opposition.

The activity saw PLMR Advent planning and managing the logistics of the stunt, through to writing a media release and pitching it to media.

This resulted in more than 20 national pieces of media coverage, ranging from the Daily Mirror and Mail Online, through to the Independent and LADbible – it even featured on ITV’s This Morning!

It is one example of how PLMR Advent is supporting its client Shakespeare’s England in providing added value to its members – in this case Fairytale Farm – alongside their overarching aim of attracting more visitors to the wider region.
