Advent visited Metal Assemblies in West Bromwich to create the first full case study for the Made Smarter initiative this week.
The firm, which creates metal components for the automotive industry, has been awarded £20,000 through Made Smarter to install new software on its press machines and increase its productivity by 30 to 40 per cent.
Made Smarter is helping manufacturing businesses adopt cutting edge digital technology to take them forward – and Advent will be shining a light on them over the coming months through written and video case studies, press releases, and first-person blogs.
