We have double reason to celebrate after recruiting PR Executives Harriet Davey and Sally Halls through our new Graduate Training Programme.
Harriet graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2020 in Theology and Religion, having spent six months studying abroad at Keio University in Tokyo. She has completed internships at media companies British American Group in Birmingham and Hello! Magazine in London, and has industry experience from working at shipping firm MSC in Ipswich.
Harriet said: “I applied for the role at Genesis because I was eager to learn and develop while working with the huge range of exciting clients that Genesis supports. I’m thrilled to have started my dream career aged 21 despite the challenges that Covid has brought to the job market.”
Sally graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2019 in History and completed a year’s Marketing and Brand internship at Bosch Lawn and Garden, gaining key insight into product marketing, brand management and internal communications, as well as writing website copy for Amazon. She also completed an internship at a London agency and gained marketing experience at an Ipswich electricals manufacturer in late 2020.
Sally said: “I’m already hugely enjoying the fast pace and variety that Genesis offers. This is the perfect next step on my career path because of the chance to expand my PR skillset and hone my social media skills. After a difficult year, I’m excited to grow as part of the Genesis team.”
Our new recruits will benefit from a 20-session PR and Digital Marketing Executive Training Programme including media relations, social media, crisis communications, digital advertising and Search Engine Optimisation.
Director Penny Arbuthnot said: “Harriet and Sally have very impressive backgrounds and we can’t wait to develop their skills and watch them flourish and succeed here at Genesis. They’ve already hit the ground running with some excellent creative ideas as they get stuck into exciting client work.”
