Gallagher Premiership Rugby Club Wasps have appointed Warwickshire-based construction firm Wigley Building & Development to build its state-of-the-art training base in Henley-in-Arden.

Gallagher Premiership Rugby Club Wasps have appointed Warwickshire-based construction firm Wigley Building & Development to build its state-of-the-art training base in Henley-in-Arden.

 

The £2m contract will see the construction arm of Stockton-based The Wigley Group carry out all the external and internal building, renovation and improvement works at the site of a former leisure complex, including creating a full-size training pitch, upgrading an artificial pitch into an RFU compliant 3G+ surface, and building a purpose-built gym, media centre and medical complex.

 

Both The Wigley Group and Wasps are clients of Advent Communications.
