Genesis Teams Up With Health Client For Charity Cycle Challenge

Genesis Account Manager Nicole Hogger and Director Penny Arbuthnot cycled their legs off and their hearts out in September after signing up to join colleagues from client Priority Digital Health in a UK-wide cycle challenge in aid of Diabetes UK.

The team secured third place overall in the national leader board at the end of the month for the number of miles cycled (a total of 2,036 miles) and seventh overall for fundraising (raising £1,445) with Penny and Nicole raising £275 between them and cycling 243 miles.

Penny Arbuthnot, Director, Genesis, said: “We had no hesitation in saying ‘yes’ to joining in with this challenge as part of the client’s own team and were thrilled to be on the leader board at the end of the month. Most importantly, the money raised for Diabetes UK will help their vital research and support for people with diabetes.”

Priority Digital Health, based in Cambridge, designs and builds digital services which help people to better manage their own health and wellbeing and which improve efficiency and create cost savings for the NHS, public health and workplaces.

The company has recently won two Health Tech Digital Awards 2020 for ‘Best COVID-19 Solution for Community Care’ and for ‘Best Solution to Manage Chronic Disease’. A third recent success has been its listing as a supplier on the ‘G-Cloud 12’ framework, a coveted procurement catalogue managed by the Crown Commercial Service (CCC).

The company’s proprietary software, called The Priority Platform, works seamlessly with health networks for social prescribing services and lifestyle services as well as for referral and booking hubs and other health and wellbeing services.

Genesis, based in Suffolk, provides intelligent solutions for today’s digital world which build brand reputation and drive achievement of goals through creative strategies, impactful content and multi-channel delivery, optimising the opportunities of PR, social media and digital marketing.
