Many small businesses in south Warwickshire hit hard by the pandemic have been helped with grants from Stratford District Council – and Advent has been sharing their stories.

From a Studley fishing shop seeing a big boost in customers needing an outdoor fix during lockdown, to Samaritans taking far more calls with fewer staff during the pandemic, we have achieved positive coverage for several organisations.

Alongside stories about businesses who have been helped directly by grants, Advent has also promoted other positive news in the district, including the first full Shakespeare play since lockdown which was held in a Stratford pub and covered by Midlands Today.
