PLMR Digital Shortlisted for Two UK Social Media Awards

The UK Social Media Awards celebrate the very best in UK social media communications and reward the individuals, companies and organisations who are using online platforms to communicate in fresh and innovative ways.

PLMR’s campaign – conceived by our CEO Kevin Craig and Double Gold Medal winning Olympian Daley Thompson CBE to get the nation moving in lockdown has been shortlisted for the Best Use of Social Media in a Crisis. PLMR livestreamed all episodes of ‘Daley Fitness’ across several web & social media platforms, sharing short Q&A clips with Daley to promote the free exercise videos. PLMR Digital’s Alex Hackett, Fox Hambly, and Abby Tomlinson collectively filmed, edited, and promoted the incredibly successful project on social media, with the aim of enabling people take part in accessible classes that would help to boost their physical and mental wellbeing.

As well as this, PLMR’s Senior Digital Executive Abby Tomlinson has been shortlisted for the Mark Hanson Award, which was created to recognise the brightest and most promising social media communicator under 30 years old.
