The reaction of the Coventry City of Culture Trust to the outbreak of Coronavirus has been making headlines across a range of media.

The Trust made a series of pledges to help support the sector and the city through the crisis including a Coventry 2021 Coronavirus Resilience Fund.

It has also helped to move some cultural activity online, supported existing organisations with their programmes, and created brand new commissions, including Shoot Festival’s Shut Down but Scratching event, a social distancing artwork and a call out for musicians and artists to be part of a new visual album.

It has seen the work of the Trust feature in the regional media – including Coventry Live and ITV Central – as well as on The Stage, Arts Professional and The Art Newspaper websites.
