PLMR – one of the UK’s leading full-service, integrated communications agencies – has launched a dedicated Coronavirus Advisory Team in response to strong demand from current and new clients for reputation management and corporate communications support following growing concerns around the outbreak.
PLMR, which already represents more than 2,000 education and healthcare facilities, has for several weeks been actively engaged in advising clients who are responding to and managing the emerging outbreak.
This includes supporting clients to effectively communicate with staff, customers, patients, residents, parents, stakeholders and regulators to provide clear and impactful communications that reassure and outline the contingency plans that are in place. PLMR has also been deputised onto the Coronavirus Steering Committee to support operational decision making for a national healthcare provider.
PLMR is a sector leader in crisis and reputation management, having won the ‘Best Issues Management’ Award at the 2017 and 2019 CorpComms Awards for its work with a learning disability care provider and on a complex education re-brokering project.
