RISING returns for fifth year

The international spotlight is set to shine on Coventry in November when a major peace symposium returns.

Advent has been promoting the fifth RISING Global Peace Forum across regional, national and international media, including a series of high-profile articles in The Big Issue and Pink News.

The event at Coventry Cathedral will gather peacebuilders, policymakers and academics from around the world to explore and promote brave and innovative strategies for resolving violent conflict and sustaining peaceful societies.

Speakers include former Prime Ministers Julia Gillard and Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
