Advent’s finest sporting specimens locked horns with the likes of Wasps Rugby and McDonald’s in a city centre tournament to mark Coventry Sports Week.

Despite victories against their business rivals in table tennis and volleyball, a narrow defeat in a five-minute netball clash at the hands of The Jade Studio prevented Advent from progressing to the finals of the multi-sport tournament.

The five-day programme, run in conjunction with Coventry Business Improvement District (BID), Coventry Sports Network, and Coventry City Council, saw the city centre’s Broadgate Square transformed into a mini sports village, welcoming dozens of competitors and volunteers from EnV’s award-winning Coventry Ambassador volunteer programme.
