At the races…

Warwick Racecourse saw its biggest attendance in more than 20 years at the Qatar Airways May Racing Carnival.

The carnival got off to a flying start with the Kids Carnival Day welcoming 6,686 racegoers – the largest crowd at the racecourse since 1997.

It featured four fixtures and closed on May 30 with the Celebration Raceday.

Andre Klein, General Manager at Warwick Racecourse, said:

The Qatar Airways May Racing Carnival has gone from strength to strength and shown positive growth for a third year.

There are many reasons for this but there is no question that one of them is the strong support we have had from Advent.

A main pillar of our community engagement strategy is communication. The PR opportunities developed by Advent – including driving column space in local newspapers – has absolutely delivered what we were after.
