CVR Global hits the headlines

A British Archive containing the world’s largest collection of magazines is seeking a new owner – and Advent has been helping spread the word nationally.

The Hyman Archive, whose affairs are being managed by CVR Global, now stores more than 5,000 different publications and 120,000 different issues and was featured in The Times thanks to Advent’s work.

Elias Paourou and David Oprey, partners at insolvency and restructuring firm CVR Global, were appointed as joint administrators on February 5, 2018 and will manage the affairs, business and assets of the Hyman Archive as they search for a new owner of the company.

Elias said: “The Hyman Archive is a truly unique business that offers a varied insight into the cultural history of Britain through its magazines and other materials.”
