And the winner is…

Coventry and Warwickshire’s diverse cultural and tourism mix was celebrated at a major awards ceremony at Coombe Abbey Hotel.

The annual Coventry and Warwickshire Tourism and Culture Awards was organised by Touch FM and Rugby FM and was supported by Coventry City of Culture Trust – the organisation behind Coventry’s bid to be UK City of Culture 2021 – Coventry City Council, Warwickshire County Council, Shakespeare’s England and the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce.

Advent Communications sponsored the award for Best Pub and director Lee Corden handed the award to The Boat Inn, in Birdingbury, while a whole host of other businesses and individuals were recognised, including a special award for the Ricoh Arena.

The celebration came just days before Coventry’s bid for UK City of Culture submission.
