Advent appoints new director

Advent Communications has appointed Lee Corden as a director of the firm.

Lee, who joined the company in 2001, has helped steer its recent growth while also working closely on a string of key clients.

Managing director Adam Dent said the appointment was recognition of the company’s success, but also its desire to drive continual growth.

He said: “Lee has been a key part of Advent’s growth and its recent successes. He has a very high reputation among our client base and within media circles. He has not only helped achieve outstanding results for the accounts he works on, but also helped drive internal development.”

Lee, who has spearheaded PR on the city’s bid to win UK City of Culture in 2021 and manages the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce account, said: “This is an exciting time for Advent. The company has a strong reputation for delivering results for clients, we have a very good team in place and we are winning new clients in a range of sectors.”
