Land and rural estate agent Fisher German are handling one of the largest and most diverse agricultural property sales in decades – and Advent has helped them achieve national publicity.
Fisher German is working for Herefordshire Council which is selling its smallholding estates and properties – consisting of 59 lots – in a move to raise funds to support the delivery of priority services.
The lots cover more than 4,000 acres and range in estimated value from around £175,000 to £2 million. Herefordshire Council hopes to raise around £40 million from the sale process which runs until July 5.
Advent achieved major coverage in The Times, the farming industry media, while BBC TV and ITV both carried dedicated reports and interviews with senior Fisher German staff.
Stuart Flint, of Fisher German, said: “The coverage helped us get the sale process off to a very positive start and it generated significant national interest.”
