Local to London

Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, with Adam Dent, Advent Communications managing director

Advent Managing Director Adam Dent helped to promote the region at home and away on the same day in March.

After hosting another hugely successful Coventry & Warwickshire Champions meeting at Coventry University TechnoCentre in the morning, Adam hot-footed it to London in the evening.

There, he was the event facilitator as Coventry’s bid to be UK City of Culture was presented to an audience on Warwick Business School’s floor at The Shard.

As well as introducing those involved with Coventry’s 2021 bid, there were also speaking slots for the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, and the former director of the National Portrait Gallery, Sandy Nairne.
