The Advent team will be braving the elements to support charity Helping Hands by taking part in their Annual Sleep Out on November 11.

Those taking part will gain an insight into what life is like for local homeless people by remaining on the streets from 8pm until 8am.

Helping Hands operations manager Lianne Kirkman said: “Our sponsored sleep out for 2016 is open to everyone and we are extremely grateful to all those who have pledged their support so far.

“Our new shop and drop-in cafe are just two ways we are providing opportunities for local homeless and vulnerable adults to engage and move forward with their lives.”
