After selection as a national finalist in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) 2016 Excellence Awards, Genesis PR is continuing its run of success with three further award nominations for the regional CIPR PRide Awards for the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern region.
The team has been shortlisted for the ‘Corporate and Business Communications Campaign’ category, ‘Outstanding Mid-Sized Public Relations Consultancy’ and for the overall ‘Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy’ Awards in the Pride Awards. In May Genesis was the only PR agency in the East of England to be nominated for the prestigious national UK title of Outstanding Small PR consultancy of the year.
The Pride awards recognise and reward the outstanding work of leading public relations teams in nine regions across the UK who demonstrate commitment to excellence and best practice. This year, over 1,000 entries were submitted from more than 300 companies.
Speaking about the awards, Penny Arbuthnot, Director of Genesis PR, said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted for three categories in this year’s regional CIPR PRide Awards as we continue to build on our success at the national Excellence Awards.
“The awards reflect our expertise in supporting both national and regional clients with their PR, marketing and social media. It is a testament to the hard work our team puts in to building the relationships we have with our clients to deliver the best results.”
Genesis PR has recently expanded to 11 employees with the appointment of a new Senior Account Manager and Digital & SEO Specialist. The team has grown to become one of the largest PR and reputation management agencies in East Anglia, delivering consumer engagement, business to business PR and digital and social media support for private and public sector clients nationally and regionally.
The winners of the 2016 CIPR PRide Awards will be announced at a black-tie event on Thursday 22 September at Homerton College in Cambridge.
