Coventry’s bid for City of Culture will be making a scene at one of the city’s leading summer events.

The team behind the bid for Coventry to be crowned the UK City of Culture in 2021 has appointed four producers to put together seven hours of diverse, exciting and moving performances at the Coventry Godiva Festival to launch the bid to the public.

The Rhythm Tent at the free event will become the City of Culture #ThisisCoventry Tent on Sunday, July 3 at the Memorial Park, showcasing some of the city’s finest and most innovative talent – including everything from singer-songwriter HE IS A PEGASUS through to a display by Motionhouse.
