PLMR’s Week Ahead in Westminster: 27th November 2015

What impact will the Syria debate have on UK politics?

The question of whether or not to carry out air strikes in Syria is causing a divide among British politicians and particularly among Labour MPs.
Despite initially saying the party would come to a collective decision on the matter next week, Jeremy Corbyn appeared to jump the gun by writing to his colleagues to say he could never support intervention.

In this podcast, we speak to former Labour candidate Kate Godfrey and the blogger and commentator, John Howarth about what this means for the future of the party.

We also catch up with the lobby journalist, Tony Grew, to find out whether he thinks a vote on air strikes is likely to happen in the near future.
