Advent Communications PR has added to its team following a period of growth.

We have recruited Christie Garratt after expanding our client base in recent months

Christie (22), an English Studies graduate, has experience working both in-house as well as agency side.

Adam Dent, managing director of the firm, which is based at Electric Wharf in Coventry, said: “We are delighted to be expanding the Advent team as we continue to win new work and expand our offer to existing clients.

“Christie’s joining the team is part of our vision to further establish ourselves in the wider area and beyond, as a trusted communications agency that consistently achieves outstanding PR coverage.”

The award-winning agency was founded in 1998 and provides media services to a range of industry sectors, including construction, entertainment, business management, hospitality, law, travel and commercial as well as the public sector.

Christie, born and bred in Coventry, will work across the client base in traditional and social media.

“I am thrilled to be joining the team at Advent. I knew of the agency through some of its high-profile clients both in the region and across the UK,” she said.

“After living in the West Midlands all my life, I am not just knowledgeable but also passionate about the area and so am looking forward to working with the major clients in this region as well as those elsewhere in the UK.”
