What if… Ed Miliband becomes Prime Minister?

James says this is the best possible scenario for Boris as it’s his clearest pathway to becoming Conservative Party leader.

Leon agrees, though he thinks he’ll have a fight on his hands against the likes of Theresa May and George Osborne.

What if… There’s another Lib Dem/Conservative coalition?

Leon believes this will mean a likely Cabinet role for the current Mayor of London.

However, James doesn’t think this would suit a man he doesn’t regard as a ‘team player’.

What if… David Cameron wins an outright majority?

Leon and James both say this would be the worst possible scenario for Boris. An extended Cameron premiership and the maturing of younger leadership candidates would mean time would start running out.
