Tom joined Advent in November 2021 after a decade in journalism, most recently as a Local Democracy Reporter at The Coventry Telegraph.

Prior to that he worked as a Senior Reporter at newspapers in Worcestershire and the Black Country, while he has held other roles in sports journalism.

He graduated from the University of Worcester with a first-class honours degree in major journalism and minor English language and holds a NCTJ Level 6 National Qualification in Journalism (NQJ).
