Alex Raymond

Head of Digital - Genesis

As Genesis’ Head of Digital, Alex is responsible for leading and managing on all aspects of the digital marketing activity through strategic direction, input and analytical insight for both the agency and its clients. His role covers the tactical planning, creation and management of digital strategies, advertising campaigns, website projects and more.

Alex’s experience spans a wide range of sectors and industries across local, national and international brands – he largely operates in the public sector and B2B markets, with a significant number of clients in his portfolio.

He graduated in 2014 with a BA (Hons) in Advertising & Marketing and has since gained many more qualifications. Alex started at Genesis as an account executive in June 2015 and has grown and developed his skillset and expertise to become a valued and senior member of the agency – he plays an active role within the Genesis Management Team alongside Ali Straker and Emma Hart.

Outside of work, Alex is a keen drummer and has been playing for 15+ years. He is in multiple bands and one of them, The Joe Keeley Band, in 2020 had a UK No.1 debut album (in the UK iTunes Country Charts!).
