WordPress Developer/Specialist

PLMR is a fast-growing communications agency with a dynamic, vibrant team that works across a number of high-profile clients to deliver corporate communications, public affairs, public relations and digital solutions for its clients.

We are seeking a skilled WordPress specialist to join our growing and award-winning digital team. In this role, you will oversee many of the technical needs of the business, manage and help upskill digital colleagues and build complex and exciting technologies for PLMR and our clients.

A successful candidate will have: 

  • Expert knowledge of the WordPress CMS
  • Experience project Designing and implementing new features and functionality
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
  • Working knowledge of design software for graphic design etc
  • Knowledge and understanding of setting up members areas
  • Understanding of GDPR and site security needs
  • Highly Desirable – Knowledge of Elementor and the Crocoblocks suit of plugins
  • Highly Desirable – Ability to build custom plugins and functionalities
  • Excellent written, presentation, verbal, and influencing communications skills
  • Comfortable working at pace and in a dynamic environment.
