The PLMR team has won “Best Use of a Communication Tool in a Campaign” at the PRCA Digital Awards for the second year in a row.

PLMR worked with The Big Issue on the Stop Mass Homelessness campaign, a landmark project which secured over £316m of additional government funding to support those at risk of homelessness.

The award-winning work involved the creation of a purpose-built campaigns platform, developed by the PLMR digital team, which allowed users to find out how the risk of homelessness in their constituency had changed throughout the pandemic.

PLMR Director of Digital, Alex Hackett, said:

“I am so delighted by this win. It has been a pleasure to work on such an important project and I’m so pleased that our innovative technical team has been recognised for a second year.”

This time last year, the PLMR digital team won the same award for their work supporting Marcus Rashford’s #EndChildFoodPoverty campaign; PLMR worked with the Food Foundation to produce a fully interactive map of businesses, charities and local councils who were offering free and reduced meals for families in need during the holidays.

PLMR has won awards and received nominations at every PRCA Digital Awards ceremony since the digital practice began. PRCA Director of Digital, Alex Hackett, won Digital Professional of the Year in 2019, and Senior Digital Manager Lucy Somers was nominated the year after for the same prize.
