PLMR RISES UP WORLD PR AGENCY RANKINGS

Another year of outstanding growth helps PLMR climbs up the list of world’s Top 250 PR companies, becoming one of the UK’s Top 20 public affairs agencies.

Communications agency PLMR Ltd has increased its position in the world’s best-performing PR agencies, reflecting another year of outstanding growth. The internationally-recognised World PR Report, produced by the Holmes Report and the International Communications Consultancy Organisation, has given PLMR a ranking of 228th in the world, four places higher than last year.

The result reflects PLMR’s outstanding growth, with turnover increasing by 22% in the last calendar year. The global PR industry grew by 7% in 2014, though the authors of the World PR Report say this figure is softened by currency volatility, which may have underestimated the global ranking of British agencies such as PLMR.

The international recognition comes as PLMR was named by PR Week as one of the UK’s Top 20 public affairs agencies, and one of the UK’s Top 40 independently-owned agencies. After entering the PR Week Top 150 in 2011, PLMR is now at number 78, up six places from last year.

Speaking about PLMR’s rise up the global and UK rankings, Managing Director, Kevin Craig, said:

“The success of PLMR, as one of the world’s leading communications agencies, continues with another year of great results for our clients, and growth for our business. In the last year we won prestigious awards for our campaigning with the bingo industry, and won flagship accounts like London City Airport.

I’d like to give enormous thanks to the creativity, skill and dedication of the PLMR team. As well as strengthening our core political lobbying, media relations and crisis communications services, they continue to innovate with new digital, social, training and video offerings.”

PLMR is part of a network of international independent communications agencies, called the Global Communications Alliance, giving its clients access to local expertise from ten trusted partners around the world.
